Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a strain in a strain generation part in response to a level of an impressed load by a strain gage to conduct accurate load measurement.
SOLUTION: This load cell 10 is composed of a base 12, a sensing member 16 fixed to the base 12, a cover 18 for covering side faces of the base 12 and the member 16, and a cable 20. The sensing member 16 has a fixed part 36 fixed to a base block part 22 of the base 12, a pair of arm parts 38, 40 with their rear ends connected to the fixed part 36 and with their front ends extended in parallel, a transversely laid part 42 laid transversely between front ends of the arm parts 38, 40, and a load impressing part 43 connected to the laid part 42. A planer-type groove 44 is cutting-worked between the paired arm parts 38, 40 and the load impressing part 43. The strain gages 52A-52D are provided in an under face of recessed parts 38a, 40a of the arm parts 38, 40 to detect the strain generated in the strain generation parts 48, 50.
