PURPOSE: To display a screen where the operating state of an equipment can be understood in a comparatively easy way by providing an operating part, the memories, a control means, an image synthesizing means, and a display means to a visual controller.
CONSTITUTION: When the signals are supplied to a visual controller 6 from the room controllers 1s and 1b via a home bus 5 or when a user operates the keys of an operating part 11, a control part selectively reads out the information out of a 2nd memory based on the control program stored in a 1st memory. In this case, the 2nd memory stores a prescribed type of pictograph, the background color, and the character information. The information outputted from the control means are synthesized by an image synthesizing means 16 and displayed as the image information. As a result, the pictograph display is carried out for the operating state of an equipment. Then the user can easily understand the operating state of the equipment.
