PURPOSE: To eliminate the necessity of grasping both the positions and classification positions of all travelling trucks by means of controllers provided on the ground side by providing a control means for controlling classification work at each of fixed destinations.

CONSTITUTION: A travelling truck is provided with both a switching means for switching the phase of its power source to supply electricity to a conveyor and a memory card 20 in which the number of each destination is stored. Also, the sending starting position of each destination is provided with transmission means 26, 27 for transmitting driving signals of a conveyor to the switching means of that travelling truck which reaches the sending starting position of a destination, means 24 for reading the number of each destination from the memory card of the travelling truck at each destination, and control means for driving the switching means when the number of the destination read by the reading means 24 agrees with that of the destination initially stored.
