Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reconcile high detection sensitivity and high protective performance, to improve comfortableness and safety when operating a protective function without causing complication of a constitution, and to facilitate the assembling of the whole structure.
SOLUTION: A load detection means 20 constituted as a unit body is disposed in a spanning state between a seat side member 22 and a leg member 34 under the fixing a strain-generating plate fixing part 12a by mounting bolts 38-1 and 38-2 and journaling of a strain-generating plate supporting part 12b by a pivotally supporting pin 44. A limiter frame 65 for surrounding a buffer cover body 70 is made a limiter means 66 by being fixed to the leg member 34 and is made a stopper means 64 by utilizing the mounting bolt 38-1. Elevating/lowering regulating timing for the seat side member 22 by the stopper means 64 is specified as timing after limiting input load by engagement of the buffer cover body 70 to the limiter frame 65.
