To obtain a high-accuracy, large-capacity, compact and low-cost load detection apparatus which can hold for a long time by setting a screwing ring to a main body supporting one end of an elastic body (coned disc spring).
This apparatus has a structure in which an eye bolt 2 is combined via an elastic body (coned disc spring) 5 to a main body 1 having a fork end 7. A ring 3 is set to be screwed to the main body 1 supporting one end of the elastic body 5. The elastic body 5 bends by a load, thereby moving the eye bolt 2 left. The ring 3 screwed to the main body 1 supporting one end of the elastic body 5 is rotated to make an end face 3a touch an end face 2a of the eye bolt 2. A value of the load is measured from an index and a load scale. Since the coned disc spring is used as the elastic body 5, a large load is obtained with a slight amount of the bend, making the apparatus compact in structure. The load detection apparatus which has a good cost performance, is highly accurate, improves disadvantages of a hydraulic type and can hold for a long time is thus obtained.
