To provide a load detector of a bed suppressing the height of a mount board on which a leg part of the bed is mounted.
The load detector 1 is provided with: a strain generation plate 10; the mount board 2 which is disposed on the upper side of the strain generation plate 10, mounts the leg part of the bed, and transmits the load to the strain generation plate 10; and strain detection sensors R1, R3 detecting the strain of the strain generation plate 10 and outputting a signal used in the detection of the load. The strain generation plate 10 is distorted by receiving the load transmitted from the mount board 2. A recessed fitting part 3 into which the leg part of the bed is fitted is formed at substantially the central part of the upper side of the mount board 2. A protruded part 4 is formed at the position corresponding to the recessed fitting part 3 in the lower side of the mount board 2. An open hole 11 is provided at the position corresponding to the protruded part 4 of the mount board 2 in the substantially central part of the strain generation plate 10. The protruded part 4 is disposed inside the open hole 11 of the strain generation plate 10.
