Abstract:

To provide a load driving device capable of surely stopping the output of a driving current from a current control element when the current control element abnormally generates heat.

A conductive piece 10 is series connected to a switching element 9 which is the current control element for supplying a driving current to a component 2 to be driven. The conductive piece 10 is joined with solder to a land of a printed wiring board 3, and a self-elastic part 10a of the conductive piece 10 energizes a solder joint part 10b to the land in the conductive piece 10 in a direction to separate from the land. When the switching element 9 abnormally generates heat, the solder that joins the solder joint part 10b and the land melts, and the self-elastic part 10a separates the solder joint part 10b from the land.
