To provide a load limiting method which can lead out the load of single-phase three-wire system power receiving to the allowable unbalancing degree of a transformer for power distribution.
This method is used for load limiting of single-phase three-wire system power receiving whose power is supplied through two load wires (A, B) and one neutral wire (N). This method shuts down a breaker 1 for power receiving if the total current of respective loads exceeds a preset contract current value, or any of current values in respective load wires exceeds a value of 1/2 of preset contract current value plus an allowable current value. This allowable current value is set, for example, in consideration of the allowable unbalancing degree of a transformer for power distribution and estimated unbalancing degree of a plurality of consumers connected to it.
