Abstract:
To provide a load omission system which reinforces the up-link margin between a ground terminal and a satellite for a satellite-based communication system.
The ground terminal 14 includes a multicarrier network 40 which is able to operate to generate multiple up-Link carrier channels, an RF transmission and reception system 48 which is able to operate to transmit the up-link carrier channels to a satellite, and a terminal control unit 46 which is able to operate to determine the attenuation levels of the up-link carrier channels transmitted to the satellite and commands the multicarrier network to increase or decrease the number of the up-link carrier channels to be transmitted to the satellite.
