To provide a load receiving platform lifting device having simple construction for preventing the occurrence of noises both when a load receiving platform being lifted up is stopped at a lift-up-end position and when the load receiving platform being turned is stopped at a storage position.
The load receiving platform lifting device comprises a control device 60 having a lifting-up speed reducing part 61 for controlling the load receiving platform to be lifted up at a reduced speed when the height position of the load receiving platform is detected to be in a right-before-lift-up-end range. The control device 60 also has a turning speed reducing part 62 for controlling the load receiving platform to be turned at a reduced speed when an elapsed time determining part 62 determines that an operating time required for turning the load receiving platform to a right-before-storage position elapsed since the load receiving platform is detected to be located between the lift-up-end position and a right-before-lift-up-end position and a storage switch S4 is operated to be depressed.
