To provide a load supporting elevating device capable of satisfactorily supporting and elevating even loads having different lateral width in a stacking machine of a bucket and a load transfer machine.

This load supporting elevating device is provided with a hydraulic cylinder 24 for letting a pair of left and right load supporting bodies 6a, 6b supported on elevating members 7a, 7b to be elevatedly driven approach mutually, and separate from each other per load supporting bodies 6a, 6b to elevate or lower a load W supported between both load supporting bodies 6a and 6b in a mutually approaching condition by elevating and lowering the elevating members 7a, 7b. Supporting members 21 on elevating member 7a, 7b sides of each hydraulic cylinder 24 are supported to move in the direction in which a retraction limit position of the load supporting bodies 6a, 6b to be driven is changed forward and backward, and a driving means 22 for changing the position of the supporting member 21 is also provided.
