Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a mechanism for supporting an article at a desired position and displacing the same in safety with a compact, light-weight and simple structure.SOLUTION: An article supporting device includes a fixed frame portion 22, a supporting frame portion 23 movable while supporting an article, spring portions 24, 25, a spring force transmitting member, first and second movable cam faces 47, 48, 50, 51, fixed lateral cam faces 57, 58, and a cam follower member 59. The cam faces are respectively designed so that the forces are balanced around the cam follower member. The lateral cam faces have upper buffer regions, upper stopper regions, and lower buffer regions further extended from their upper and lower ends. The upper buffer regions and the lower buffer regions are curved so that inclinations are opposite to that of the lateral cam face just therebefore.
