Abstract:

To provide a single valve type on-load tap changer suitable for practical use by reducing the breaking current of the valve.

In an on-load tap changer 1, a resistance changeover switch SW1, a VCB changeover switch SW2, and a conduction changeover switch SW3 have an A contact, respectively, connected with an A tap, and a B contact connected with a B tap. Common contact of the resistance changeover switch SW1 is connected with the R contact of the VCB changeover switch SW2 via a current limit resistor 2. Common contact of the VCB changeover switch SW2 is connected with the common contact of the conduction changeover switch SW3 via a VCB3, and the common contact of the conduction changeover switch SW3 is connected to a neutral N.
