Abstract:
To provide a load transmission mechanism which disperses an impact caused by a lateral collision to parts other than a center pillar to reduce deformation of a vehicle cabin space.SOLUTION: A load transmission mechanism has: a crash sensor 16 which detects a crash from a vehicle side surface direction; a position specification part 17 which specifies a crash position on the basis of a detection result of the crash sensor 16; a pressure receiving member 18 which is provided below a seat 11 of a vehicle, extends in a vehicle width direction, is provided so as to be movable in a vehicle fore and aft direction, and receives an impact from a side surface caused by the crash; and a moving mechanism 19 which moves the pressure receiving member 18 in the vehicle fore and aft direction to the crash position on the basis of the crash position specified by the position specification part 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
