To provide a loader apparatus that can set a chuck member in a gripping state in conjunction with the downward movement of a loader body.

The loader apparatus includes: a loader body 24 that is vertically moved; a pair of chuck members 48 that are freely movable between a gripped state and a released state; a first cylinder mechanism 50 that is mounted to the loader body 24; a second cylinder mechanism 52 that is mounted to a machine tool body side. When a machining member is gripped, the second cylinder mechanism 52 is held in a contracted state. When the loader body 24 moves near a descending position in this contracted state, an annular member 90 of a rod member 88 comes into contact with the annular ring 86 of the second cylinder mechanism 52. When the loader body 24 moves further downward, a first position of the first cylinder mechanism 50 moves toward the contracting position through the rod member 88, thereby making the pair of chuck members 48 move toward a clamping state.
