To provide a loading cam plate for a toroidal type continuously variable transmission relaxing concentration of stress to be capable of increasing strength, by making an angular part an R surface between a cam surface and a cylindrical protruded part without a clearance groove for grinding.
This loading cam plate for a loading cam device of a toroidal type continuously variable transmission, comprising a first cam plate engaged with an input shaft, a second cam plate provided in a back surface side of an input side disc to be opposed to the first cam plate, and a holder interposed in a cam surface opposing the first/second cam plates to each other to have a plurality of rollers, is characterized by forming the cam plate 25 in disc shape to have in its central part a cylindrical protruded part 26 protruded to one surface side and to have in the periphery of this cylindrical protruded part 26 an irregular cam surface 32 over a circumferential direction to work an angular part by pre-work in an R surface 30 between the cam surface 32 and the cylindrical protruded part 26 to cam grind by after-work the cam surface 32 by a grinding wheel 31.
