To enhance the productivity of sintered ore by regulating the magnetic force of a magnet built in a sloping shoot depending on the kind of magnetizing material or the mixing ratio thereof and segregating the majority of the magnetizing material above a sintering material layer thereby lowering the bulk density.
A permanent magnet 7 is held to the rear surface of a sloping shoot 4 by means of a ball screw such that the permanent magnet 7 can be brought close to the sloping shoot 4 or separated therefrom by turning the ball screw. Magnetic force of the permanent magnet 7 acting onto a sintering material 2 is regulated depending on the kind of magnetizing material composing the sintering material or the mixing ratio thereof. Bulk density can be lowered by segregating the majority of the magnetizing material at the upper layer part of a sintering material layer 6 deposited on a moving pallet 5 through action of the magnetic force.
