To provide a loading and unloading assisting device having a simple configuration and capable of performing stable loading and unloading work by small operation force by reducing work burden in transfer, inclination of attitude, and elevation operation when handling a large and heavy object such as a cold storage having large capacity.
This loading and unloading assisting device 1 is composed of a mounting frame 2 provided with a hook 14 for locking the large and heavy object W and capable of being mounted and fixed for the large and heavy object to lock in this hook 14 and a guide frame 3 guided and supported so as to move the mounting frame 2 vertically. Main support parts 4, 4 for receiving whole load at a lower end position and auxiliary support parts 5, 5 for supporting the guide frame 3 stably at inclined attitude are provided on a rear face side of the guide frame 3. The main support parts 4, 4 are provided with a wheel for travel.
