Abstract:
To provide a composition for a cosmetic and/or a dermatological preparation and/or a medicine which is applicable locally or orally for treating certain kinds of effects due to natural ageing and optical ageing.
The composition for a cosmetic or a dermatological preparation containing at least one inhibitor of 3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase enzyme in an effective amount. Specifically, the examples include isoflavones such as daidzein, genistein and equol; and steroids such as epostane, trilostane and 11-α-bromoacetoxy-progesterone.
