Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate elimination of extra ones out of microcomputers by piercing a hole open to outside through the side wall of an insertion hole to locate a main component in.

CONSTITUTION: This jig consists of a locator zone 2a, a microcomponent arrangement zone 3, and a substrate 4. An insertion hole 5 to locate package P in centers in the locator zone 2a, and the side wall of the insertion hole 5 is pierced by a hole 9a open to outside. The discharge hole 9a has its height set larger than the diameter of a solder ball 6 so that it can be discharged through the discharge hole when solder balls 6a are arranged in recesses 7 of the microcomponent arrangement zone 3. This design facilitates elimination of extra ones out of microcomponents.
