Title:
LOCK BOLT FALLING PREVENTING METAL FITTING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3284026
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent falling of an expansion type lock bolt.
SOLUTION: Prior to the drive of an expansion type lock bolt 7 into a bore hole, the opening part 21 of the cylindrical body 22 of a falling preventing metal fitting 20 is expanded by a tool, and fitted to a sleeve 5 fitted to the tip of the lock bolt 7. The cylindrical body 22 is firmly fitted to the sleeve 5 by a spring property for contracting the diameter. On the other hand, four upper claw parts 23 are engagingly locked by the upper end surface of the sleeve 5, and a lower claw part 24 is engagingly locked by the lower end surface of the sleeve 5. Since the cylindrical body 22 having a locking part 25 is thus firmly fixed to the sleeve 5, the cylindrical body 22 is never shifted in the axial direction of the lock bolt 7 even when a friction is generated with a bore hole wall when the lock bolt 7 is driven, and the locking part 25 is bitten from the tip of the lock bolt 7 to the deepest hole wall of the bore hole after drive to surely prevent falling of the lock bolt 7.
