Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain open bidding which is protected in a field of electronic procurement by providing an electronic repository for storing a submitted bid plan until open bidding expires.
SOLUTION: After the date and the digital signature of a seller 100 which are included in a proposal message are verified, a bidder 102 generates another session key called a bidder's session key and encodes the proposal once more. The session key of the bidder is not shared with any other person and stored behind the scene by the bidder 102 himself or herself. The bidder 102 adds the date and digital signature to a message including the proporsal which is encoded double and transfers them to a 3rd person 104 who verifies the date and the digital signature of the bidder 102. After the signature of the bidder 102 and date information are verified, the 3rd person 104 stores the praporsal in a safe repository or cache 106 until the bidding closing day and time.
