Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the thickness of components arranged within a door so that the opening for inserting them can be minimized, and they can be arranged in a narrow mounting space.
SOLUTION: A base plate 12 to be inserted into an opening and closing body through the opening formed on the outer mounting surface of the opening and closing body is vertically provided on a lock body 7 fixed to the mounting surface. A base piece 12a having a surface orthogonal to the thickness direction of the opening and closing body to support an operation mechanism 13 and a mounting part 12b extending outward from the mounting part for the operation mechanism 13 of the base piece 12a are provided on the base plate 12, and the lower end of the housing 15a of an actuator 15 is fixed to the mounting part 12b so that the housing 15a does not overlap with the operation mechanism 13 in the thickness direction of the opening and closing body.
