Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device with electroviscosity that can lock or unlock a connection state between members by ON/OFF of applied voltage to ER gel or ER fluid.SOLUTION: ER gel or ER fluid is provided between a first connection part of a first member and a second connection part of a second member, voltage is applied to the ER gel or ER fluid, and thus the adhesive force of the surface of the ER gel is changed or the viscosity of the ER fluid is changed. Consequently, the connection state between the first connection part and the second connection part can be locked or unlocked instantly.
