To provide a lock for a brake disk of a motorcycle having a lock means in which locking and unlocking are controlled by a pair of combination rings.
A rear end of a latch 5 is restrained within a cylindrical body 7 while the cylindrical body is stored in a main body 1 slidable and rotatable as well as axially movable and is energized toward the projecting direction by a helical spring 16. The cylindrical body has a spherical hollow 9 and a groove 10. A ball 11 is pushed by an opposed spring 14 via shaft 13 of a lock 12 combining rotating rings into the spherical hollow. The groove is an L shape composed of a horizontal branch portion 10a and a vertical branch portion 10b while a pin 15 fixed in the main body of the lock is positioned in the groove. When the lock combining rotating rings is in the unlocked state, the shaft can be drawn and the cylindrical body can be rotated. Thus, on rotating the cylindrical body with an operating part 8, the pin moves from the horizontal branch portion to the vertical branch portion in the groove, so that the cylindrical body is lifted by means of the helical spring, the latch is pulled in and then the lock is unlocked.
