Abstract:

PURPOSE: To contribute to the diversity of the actuation status of a device to be incorporated by achieving a specific radius of curvature in a relative motion direction.
CONSTITUTION: The title drive unit is constituted by mutually adding a guidance unit for accurate guidance while carrying an object to be carried and a linear electromagnetic actuator for driving the guidance unit. Then, a bed 1 of the guidance unit, a table 2, a coil yoke 3, a track rail 7, and a slide member 10 are formed with an equal radius of curvature over the total length in the relative motion direction of the track rail 7 and the slide member 10, thus exposing an arc shape as an entire drive unit. Therefore, by setting the radius of curvature of the drive unit properly, it becomes possible to contribute to the diversity of the actuation status of an industrial robot, etc., where the drive unit is incorporated and to achieve a configuration for coping with diversity by using in combination with the drive unit for performing linear reciprocating operation.
