To provide a key unit for human-power drive vehicle capable of contributing to high convenience and a lock system.SOLUTION: A key unit for human drive vehicle includes a communication section which transmits a release signal including a key code referred to for releasing locking of a component mounted on a human-power drive vehicle to a lock device for locking the component, and a first control section for controlling the communication section.
