To provide a lock-up clutch control device that accurately estimates a zero point of transmitted torque and appropriately determines the timing of switching the mode from pressure increase control to feedback control.
When vehicle speed exceeds a lock-up ON speed, connection control of the lock-up clutch is started by a lock-up command output to a solenoid valve. The pressure increase control for increasing the connecting pressure of the lock-up clutch is executed while computing transmitted torque of the lock-up clutch. After the pressure increase control, feedback control of the connecting pressure of the lock-up clutch is executed so that a differential number of revolution between the input number of revolution and an output number of revolution of the lock-up clutch becomes a target value. The maximum value of the transmitted torque in a predetermined time before and after the lock-up command is output, is computed. The time at which the transmitted torque in the pressure increase control exceeds the maximum value by a predetermined value, is set as the timing of switching the mode from the pressure increase control to the feedback control.
