To provide a lock-up clutch capable of maintaining the durability of a damper spring while reducing a spring constant in a cruising area and improving the torque fluctuation absorbing performance of an engine.
This lock-up clutch transmits torque inputted into a torque converter cover 5 to a turbine through a clutch piston 11 and a damper spring 12 when the clutch piston 11 is in a coupling position. The damper spring 12 is formed in a manner that a first coil spring 12a and a second coil spring 12b which have mutually different spring constants at one end and the other end are arranged in series in a compression direction, and has an auxiliary spring 17 which is arranged in parallel from the one end of the damper spring 12 to the other end thereof, has a spring constant lower than that of the coil spring of the damper spring 12, and displaced together with the damper spring 12.
