Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock-up clutch capable of reducing friction and hysteresis in compression of a spring to enhance smoothness for operation.SOLUTION: A coil spring 6 held by a piston 5 in a state of being curved into a circular arc shape along a circumferential direction of the piston 5 has an extension part 61 in which a midway part in an axial length direction of the spring 6 is extended to the inside in a radial direction of the piston 5. The extension part 61 is engaged to the piston 5 or a part of a member 7 attached to the piston 5 so that radially outward movement of the piston 5 is regulated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
