Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent transfer of vibration when a throttle is suddenly closed under closure of a lock-up clutch in such a way that lock-up is released by actuating a lock-up control valve at the time of off-throttling or at the time of ultra-light throttling. CONSTITUTION:When the vehicular speed is at more than the determined value at the highest speed gear, a plunger 27 of a solenoid valve 26 protrudes itself to the left and closes a throttle 25. Then, feed of torque converter-in pressure to a lock-up chamber 9 of a torque converter 1 is interrupted, and pressure in the lock-up chamber 9 is drained through ports c, d of a control valve 21. Thus, a lock-up clutch 4 is closed. At the time of off-throttling or at the time of ultra- light throttling, since a spool 22 moves itself to the left against a spring 23, the lock-up control valve 21 releases closure of the lock-up clutch 4.
