Abstract:
To provide a lock-up damper device stored in a torque converter for absorbing impact torque and elastically connecting a turbine runner to a piston when the piston is engaged to a front cover, and absorbing torque fluctuation of an engine when the piston is in a lock-up condition in which the piston is engaged to the front cover.
A ring cover 23 is mounted on an outer peripheral part of a B plate which is an output side member connected to the turbine runner and rotating therewith. A weight 21 and a coil spring 22 are stored in a storing part 24 of the ring cover 23. The weight 21 moves in the circumferential direction inside the storing part and the coil spring 22 extends and contracts according to the torque fluctuation.
