To provide a lock-up damper device stored in a torque converter for absorbing impact torque and elastically connecting a turbine runner to a piston when the piston is engaged to a front cover, and absorbing torque fluctuation of an engine when the piston is in a lock-up condition in which the piston is engaged to the front cover.
A ring cover 23 is mounted on an outer peripheral part of a B plate which is an output side member connected to the turbine runner and rotating therewith. A curved cylinder 29 having a predetermined curvature is attached to a storing part 24 of the ring cover 23. Coil springs 22, 22 are disposed at both sides in the inner space of the curved cylinder 29, and a weight 21 is stored between the both coil springs 22, 22 to be movable according to torque fluctuation. Further, at both tip ends of the curved cylinder 29, holes 32, 33, ... are provided through which hydraulic oil filled on the inside flows in and out.
