To increase the selection of elastic members available in view of design in a lock-up damper of a torque converter by providing a stopper while suppressing the increasing of a manufacturing cost.
A lock-up damper has an input side member provided with a drive plate 3 and a stopping pin 9, a driven plate, a first coil spring 7 arranged between both the plates, a second coil spring 8 having elasticity less than the first coil spring 7 and arranged between plates and the first coil spring 7, and an intermediate plate 4 provided with an intermediate support part 21 and a first claw part 20a. The intermediate support part 21 circumferentially supports the first and second coil springs 7, 8. The first claw part 20a can be engaged with the stopping pin 9 so as to suppress deformation of the second oil spring 8 within an allowable amount when the input member is twisted relative to the driven plate 5 in the normal rotation direction R1.
