Abstract:
To prevent a member from being worn owing to the axial movement of a piston, and to reduce the friction loss in a lock-up device and a fluid torque transmission device.
The lock-up device 7 of a torque converter 1 comprises the piston 75, a piston connecting mechanism 76, a clutch plate 71, and a damper mechanism 9. The piston connecting mechanism 76 connects the piston 75 integrally rotatably, and axially movably for a front cover 11, and restricts the movement to a turbine 22 side of the piston 75 within a predetermined range.
