To improve a vibration damping property in a torque lock up device of a torque converter in which an elastic body member acting in series in rotational direction is radially arranged.
In the lock up device 107 of the torque converter, a piston 151 of a disc shape is a member used for a clutch action. A first spring 154a is a member used for elastically connecting the piston 151 and a driven part 153 in the rotational direction. A secondary spring 154b is a member used for elastically connecting the piston 151 and the driven member 153 and is arranged in an inside perimeter of the first spring 154a. A spring holder 155 supports the first spring 154a and the secondary spring 154b in the rotational direction so as to transmit a torque between the both springs and radially supports the first spring 154a.
