Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a more effective restriction against vibration at a lock-up device having torsion characteristics of three-stages by setting the torsion characteristics to more lower rigidity and wider angle degree.SOLUTION: This lock-up device comprises a drive plate 29 to which a torque is inputted; a driven plate 30; a fourth torsion spring 44; and first to third torsion springs 41 to 43. The driven plate 30 is arranged to enable a relative rotation with the drive plate 29 to be carried out and outputs torque. The fourth torsion spring 44 connects the drive plate 29 with the driven plate 30 and operates over a full range of the torsion angles. The first to third torsion springs 41 to 43 are arranged at an outer peripheral side of the fourth torsion spring 44 in such a manner that they may be operated in parallel with the fourth torsion spring 44 and each of them has different rigidities and operated in series.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
