Abstract:
To surely prevent separation of a stopper mechanism in a lock-up device.SOLUTION: A lock-up device 4 includes: a clutch portion 24 disposed between a front cover 2 and a turbine 11, and transmitting or blocking torque; and a damper portion 28 for transmitting the torque from the clutch portion 24 to the turbine 11, and absorbing/damping torsional vibration. The damper portion 28 has: an input member connected to the clutch portion 24; an output member rotatable relatively to the input member and connected to the turbine 11; an elastic member for elastically connecting the input member and the output member in a rotating direction; and a support member including a connecting portion, a restricting portion, and a stopper portion. The connecting portion is connected to the input member. The restricting portion is disposed in a manner of axially holding the output member with a part of the input member. The stopper portion can be kept into contact with the output member, and prohibits the relative rotation of the input member and the output member by a prescribed angle or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
