An operating piece 9 provided at the tip of the operating means 2 is longitudinally moved to rotate a key bar 3 for locking. The operating means 2 can therefore be slid horizontally as a lock provided at furniture such as a cabinet, so that a stroke portion is not protruded not only at the time of locking but also at the time of unlocking.
