To provide a convenient lock capable of being unlocked by either an unlocking method of making a combination of dials or an unlocking method of using a key, and capable of employing either of the methods, and provided with a locking terminal commonly used in both of the methods and having the same insert position for locking operation used in the two methods.

This lock consists of a key cylinder operated by a key and a conventional combination lock into the outer tube of which the key cylinder is inserted. The single lock has two different unlocking systems, key and dialing methods, available. Each of these two methods can be preferred to the other. Both of locking/unlocking turning axis and locking terminal are common to these methods. Further a terminal hole is at the same position. Two different unlocking systems are realized in a single lock using a small number of parts without largely changing the appearance of conventional combination locks.
