Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking clip which prevents a steel locker and a resin scuff plate from being damaged and/or keeps from rusting as surely assembling or locking both these members.
SOLUTION: A locking clip 8 is provided with a first fitting part 9 to be fitted in a protrusively lapping projection 5 of a steel locker 3, and a second fitting part 10 to be fitted in a riblike projection 7 of a resin scuff plate 6, while this first fitting part 9 is formed into being nearly U-shaped form, and its inner side has a fitting groove to be externally fitted in the protrusively lapping projection 5 of the locker 3, and a slippage preventive member 13 consisting of elastomer is made up on an inner circumferential surface of the fitting groove. Owing to this slippage preventive member 13, the steel locker 3 is surely held fast, while any possible damage is obviated, besides rusting is prevented from occurring in consequence.
