Abstract:

To provide a locking composition of a non-adhesive type precoating that can be applied at room temperature, develop a large frictional resistance, and can form a coating layer of a uniform thickness with high flexibility, elasticity, toughness, moisture-proofness, and excellent sealing performance on the faces of spiral ridges and spiral bottoms of a screw.

This composition is a solution or gel that comprises (A) 5-80 wt.% of a methylphenylsilicone resin containing a combination of groups of three-dimensional network polysiloxane structure as a following structural units of the formulas: CH3SiO3/2, (CH3)2SiO, C6H5SiO3/2, (C6H5)(CH3)SiO and (C6H5)SiO2 (CH3 is a methyl group and C6H5 is a phenyl group) with an average molecular weight of 10,000-300,000, or of a methylsilicone resin containing a combination of groups of polysiloxane structure as a following structural units of the formulas: SiO2, (CH3)2SiO1/2, CH3SiO3/2 (CH3 is a methyl group and C6H5 is a phenyl group) with an average molecular weight of 10,000-300,000, and 20-95 wt.% of a volatile organic solvent.
