Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-attachment type locking device attached to the front surface of an existing locking device, for locking and unlocking the existing locking device through a code which is different from that inherent to the existing code.
SOLUTION: A locking device comprises a base plate 4 which is slidably inserted in a member having an existing locking device, a casing 5 attached to the base plate 4, a primary lock incorporated in the casing 5 and having a code which is different from that inherent to the existing locking device, a drive side rotating body engaged with a rotor in the primary lock, a driven side rotating body rotated by rotation of the drive side rotating body, a key member 40 attached to the driven side rotating body and urged in a direction in which it is inserted in a key hole 3 in the existing locking device, and a hole plate 46 engaged with the base plate 4 and the casing 5, which cannot be pulled out when the primary lock is locked.
