PURPOSE: To provide a means provided doubly with safety and airtightness of a door, a window, etc., by successively actuating a positioning means and a dead-lock bolt with a control member of a working rod, etc., to cooperate with the control mechanism of a window bolt, a window lock, a multiple bolt lock, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A locking device 1 is constituted of a positioning device 3 to properly position a door, a window, etc., against its door frame and a dead-lock bolt 4 to constitute a locking point with high safety, by being engaged with a bracket metal for conformity arranged on the door frame. Additionally, installation of the locking device 1 is facilitated by a fixed member to cooperate with a protective plate 13 or an inwall 14 of a door 7, that is, a fastening member 12, and mechanical strength prepared for the case, when a burglar attempts to break the door or to open the window, is increased. Consequently, it is possible to return the dead-lock bolt to a level of the corresponding bracket metal by actuating the positioning device 3 and to prevent production of an undesirable clearance during that time.
