Abstract:
A locking device (11) has bolt part (13) attached to door and lock part (15) attached to room closing element. A spiral spring (39) is in active engagement with the longitudinal guiding device (25) and transverse guiding device to cushion the displacement of the bolt (23) of the bolt part in transverse adjustment direction. The transverse guiding device defines the transverse adjustment direction that is being directed transversely to the displacement direction of the bolt and parallel to the door plane. An independent claim is also included for a room closing element for locking device.
