To provide a locking/unlocking device capable of setting an anti-panic state on the front and rear surfaces of a door in an easy-to-understand manner by a simple mechanism.SOLUTION: A locking/unlocking device includes: a front side mechanism 31 and a rear side mechanism 33 for receiving an input from an operation member 19 which are arranged on the front and rear surfaces of a door 21; a built-in key mechanism 25 having an interlocking mechanism which is interlocked with the front side mechanism 31 or the rear side mechanism 33 and which brings the door 21 into an openable state or a non-openable state; a connecting-rocking member 15 which is rockable about a rocking shaft 55 provided in a case 13 having a door end part 39; and a pair of engagement rods 17 arranged symmetrically about the rocking shaft 55 and extending in a direction substantially parallel to each other from the door end part 39 toward a depth direction, the pair of engagement rods being interlocked with and driven by the rocking of the connecting-rocking member 15 to alternately advance or retreat relative to the front side mechanism 31 or the rear side mechanism 33 so that the front side mechanism 31 or the rear side mechanism 33 and the interlocking mechanism switch the openable state or the non-openable state of the door 21 in a selective manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
