To provide a locking-unlocking system which can simplify a door opening operation by reducing the number of operations in the opening of a door.

This locking-unlocking system comprises: a potable unit 2 with a communication portion; and a locking-unlocking unit 3 which is arranged on an automobile side which is provided with a switch 6 for locking and unlocking a door lock mechanism 10 and a transceiver 15 for making transmission to and reception from the portable unit 2 by the operation of the switch 6, and locks and unlocks the door lock mechanism 10 on the basis of the result of the collation of a pre-registered code and a code included in a signal from the portable unit 2. The locking-unlocking unit 3 includes a door opening/closing mechanism 12 which is actuated by the unlocking of the door lock mechanism 10 by the operation of the switch 6 to open the door.
