To improve security (contamination prevention of virus or the like and leakage prevention of customer information) in collecting log information by a customer computer as a maintenance object device.
A customer computer 1 as the object of maintenance is provided with a preliminarily loaded log collection AGT100; a USB memory 2 for maintenance and a terminal 3 for maintenance connected to the customer computer 1 for collecting log information, and the USB memory 2 for maintenance is provided with a log collection management MJ200 to be automatically started in performing connection, and this log collection management MJ200 is provided with a control means for requesting key information to the log collection AGT100, and for, when the request origin is authenticated, acquiring device ID, and for storing it in the storage part 20; a control means for transmitting the device ID to the information server 4 by the terminal 3 for maintenance, and for acquiring access ID corresponding to the device ID, and for storing it in the storage part 20; and a control means for presenting access ID to the log collection AGT100 by the customer computer 1, and for performing access to a log information storage area, and for collecting and encrypting log information, and for storing it in its own storage part 20.
