To solve the problem in Internet connecting equipment that access history via the Internet cannot be left as log information because the equipment has no resources therefor, and it cannot be analyzed whether a trouble is caused by failure of the equipment, by a user's operation mistake or by a cracker's attack.
The Internet equipment executes, upon receipt of a packet for instructing a predetermined function such as control from the outside, the instruction, and transmits information owned by the packet to a relay server as log information with equipment specifying information. The relay server searches, in response to the user's request of the Internet equipment, transmitting destination information based on the equipment specifying information, and transmits the log information to the user by e-mail. The user analyzes the cause of the trouble from the received log information.
