Abstract:
PURPOSE:To immediately execute simulation after the input of a logical circuit by giving connection information for logical simulation with permitting it to hold hierarchy. CONSTITUTION:A circuit connection information storage device 14 holds the hierarchy relation of the logical circuit as it is and stores the connection state of the logical circuit. An event storage device 15 stores an event which occurs as logical simulation is executed with holding a hierarchy level in the hierarchy relation. A simulation controller 12 propagates the event stored in the event storage device 15 in accordance with a circuit connection relation stored in the circuit connection information storage device 14 and executes logical simulation. The result of logical simulation is outputted to an event output device 13. An event input device 11 inputs an objective input pattern and transmits it to the simulation controller 12.
